This page will cover:

  • What we collect when you run a check, and why
  • Photos are deleted straight after the check, with three exceptions: kept encrypted for up to 30 minutes while you sign up or pay; kept encrypted for up to 48 hours when a check can't give a full verdict, so you can add more photos for a free re-check (deleted as soon as there's a full verdict); and shown publicly on an Assessment Certificate only if you agree
  • Photos are only used to help improve accuracy if you choose to share them
  • Location data (EXIF) is stripped from every photo on upload
  • We never sell your data
